Af-Ford a car you can rely on
Ford cars have long been considered by many vehicle drivers as highly reliable cars which provide safe and comfortable transport. In fact, since 1903 — when Ford was first founded — the company has grown to become one of the world’s largest automobile makers, proving a popular car brand amongst all generations. However, despite confidence in its make, many car-buyers still find it challenging — probably due to the vast range of cars available — to choose a Ford model that will meet their overall driving needs.
One of Ford’s most popular models is the Ford Fiesta. Among the car company’s longest running models on the market, the Fiesta was introduced in 1976 in response to a European consumer demand for a supermini, and as time has evolved, the appearance and features of the Fiesta have also continued to evolve. As a result, Fiesta’s can be found in almost any location in the world — which is not surprising, considering its reliable and stylish appeal to all generations and consumer needs.
To meet the demand for city drivers, Ford produced the Ka model in 1996, a model that whilst known for its radical design, has also proven popular due to its economical running costs, and moreover for its handling. It distinct appearance and suitability for city conditions has made the Ka a popular vehicle amongst car owners; in fact celebrities such as Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney is known to own one.
The Ford Focus was later to be introduced in 1998 as part of Ford’s small car range in an attempt to repeat the success of the Fiesta and Ka respectively. As a result, this car would fall between its predecessors, acting as a small family car that is accessible for all drivers needs. The car was to be a huge success for Ford, having since become one of the United Kingdom’s best selling cars. The Focus has received positive reviews for being a vehicle that is considered safe in the event of a crash, whilst also being a car with excellent handling and providing comfort for both driver and passengers due to its deceptively roomy interior.
Ford’s saloon car, the Mondeo, was introduced in 1993 and marketed as a large family car, which would prove popular for a range of family circumstances; including travelling for long durations on holiday to carrying out the weekly shopping or picking up the children from school. The Mondeo is a diverse model too, being available as a four-door saloon, a five-door hatchback, and also a five-door estate — making it ideal for both family and business use.
It is quite common for vehicle drivers to stick to the make that they know best when it comes to purchasing a new car, while more often than not, the consumer stays loyal to the brand that they have owned throughout their driving career. And considering Ford’s wide offering of popular models, it’s simple to choose from reliable Ford cars that also meets each driver’s individual needs.
