A resale rights product is a product that you have the right to resell and keep 100% of the profits. (...)

A resale rights product is a product that you have the right to resell and keep 100% of the profits. There are various ways that you can make money from resale rights including:

- Setting up a website with a sales page for the product then promoting that page and keeping the profits.
- Offering the resale rights product as a bonus for customers who buy your product or signup for your business opportunity.
- Bundling the product up with numerous other products and selling a package of resale rights products.
- Selling the product or bundle of products on EBay go to www.leverage-on-resale-rights.com.
- Offering the product as an incentive for people to sign up to your ezine or newsletter.

Before you go away and do this you need to be sure that you understand the different types of resale rights products and what you can and can’t do with each type.

Most resale rights products fall into one of the following categories:

(1) Giveaway Rights – this means that you can give the product away for free. For example, you may want to offer a product as an incentive or a thank you to your website visitors or newsletter subscribers. You are not allowed to charge anything for these types of products.

(2) Resell Rights – this means that you can sell the product and keep 100% of the profits for yourself. There is no need to make any royalty payments for the product. Sometimes the product may come with restrictions, for more detail visit www.newbies-guide-to-making-software.com for example you may have to charge a minimum price for it or you may not be allowed to give the product away for free. This sort of restriction is put in place to prevent de-valuation of the product.

(3) Master Resell Rights – this means that you can give the product away, resell it, bundle it up with other products, include them in your own membership site and pass the resell rights to others so that they can sell the product themselves.

(4) Private Label Rights (PLR) – this is the most flexible type of rights and means that you actually get access to the source files for the product. This may include the word documents, for more detail visit www.resale-right-profits.com the software source files, and the image source files and so on. This allows you to modify the product in anyway you see fit. For example you could add new content to the product, change the images on the sales page, change the name of the product, and add your own name as the reactor of the product and lots more.

This is just a general guide to the different types of resale rights. Remember that the original creator of the product may have placed additional restrictions on the product. It is your responsibility to ensure that you read the license that comes with the product to ensure that you understand these restrictions before you go ahead and market the product.

Christmas weddings are becoming increasingly popular and according to a recent poll by a wedding magazine, December the 25th is now the fifth most requested date to get married in the UK. (...)

Christmas weddings are becoming increasingly popular and according to a recent poll by a wedding magazine, December the 25th is now the fifth most requested date to get married in the UK.

With the magic of the vows, dress and coming together of two people in love comes another tradition that is proving to be as popular as the wedding itself. It is estimated that we spend as much as £430 million per year on hen and stag parties, with party goers spending around £500 each on giving their friends a stylish send off to married life. A third of stag and hen parties now travel abroad for the party, meaning that it could be a very expensive Christmas ahead for those with friends tying the knot during the festive period.

However if you’re going to a hen party or are responsible for organising one, never fear, as there are plenty of low budget and high style ways to treat the bride-to-be without breaking the bank.

For the bride who is fixated about fashion why not book her and her closest hens an appointment with a style advisor? Many department stores and retailers offer this service for free and with no obligation to buy. What better way to spend an afternoon than trying on this season’s outfits or helping the bride to select a capsule wardrobe for her honeymoon? Topshop, for example, offers a style advisory service free of charge in some of its larger stores throughout the UK. The service includes a consultation with the advisor, who will help you to select the best looks for you from the hottest styles on the shop floor.

Alternatively if your best friend-come-bride is a beauty fanatic then why not indulge in some pampering and treat her to a selection of fabulous skincare delights? There’s no better way to celebrate an up-and-coming wedding that an ultimate girls night in with face packs and cocktails, trying out make up looks and getting ready to look radiant for the big day! Treatments such as No7 Protect and Perfect beauty serum can provide both yours and the bride-to-be’s needs for glowing skin on the big day. Containing a unique antioxidant complex that helps protect against damaging free radicals, alongside concentrated levels of intense skin-firming pro-retinol complex to boost and maintain the skin’s elasticity, this would be the perfect beauty gift for the bride and her bridesmaids to use on the wedding day too.

With the big day and honeymoon on the horizon, a girls’ get together is the perfect way to banish the ‘pale and interesting’ look that winter brings. Give your bride the gift of a golden tan with the ultimate sun-worshipper’s beauty gift - St Tropez’s The Ultimate Golden Body, containing a bronzer and tan intensifier to ensure the bride glows long into her married life.

With the average wedding costing around £19,500, indulging your best girlfriends to some well thought-out and purse-friendly treats will ensure that you have a hen party to remember, rather than a credit card bill you’d rather forget!

Although the old saying goes ‘time is money’, today’s hectic lifestyles mean many people actually find it inconvenient to have to find the time necessary to managing their finances. (...)

Although the old saying goes ‘time is money’, today’s hectic lifestyles mean many people actually find it inconvenient to have to find the time necessary to managing their finances. For most of these people, it necessitates a trip to the local branch during lunch-hour; but with so many others in the same predicament, it can often mean lengthy queues and a wasted lunch.

However, such a scenario need no longer be the case as with the evolution of internet banking into everyday life, managing one’s finances is made much simpler and quicker. Although still a relatively new concept, it has nonetheless become a welcome facility for those who are unable to attend their bank in person for whatever reason.

There are many advantages to banking via the internet, with the most attractive point being convenience. The fact that users can perform banking duties at anytime 24/7 and anyplace where an internet connection can be made makes it an attractive proposition for many. What’s more, with the most common functions associated with their high-street counterparts, such as arranging a loan or paying a bill, being readily available online, internet banking could spell an end to lunchtime queuing altogether.

Another important advantage of performing banking online is that it can speed up any transactions across the range of services the facility has to offer. These services include checking statements online; viewing recent transactions made; setting up and managing standing orders and direct debits, and also being able to transfer funds between specific accounts with ease, in order to pay bills or top up savings from excess cash. Rather than perhaps taking several days to complete, all of these functions can be performed in a matter of minutes with just a few clicks of a computer mouse.

In some cases, depending on the service provider, even more specialised tasks can also be performed, such as arranging car or home insurance or ordering foreign currency.

Internet banking customers needn’t be stuck either, should they encounter any problems when it comes to managing their account. Many providers of internet banking facilities also offer their customers a dedicated help-line which operates in tandem with their online service, to guide users through and answer any questions or concerns users may have regarding the online banking process.

There are still some things that can’t be done using online banking, however; such as changing or paying in bags of accumulated loose change, or the paying in of a cheque but overall, internet banking has more advantages than disadvantages when it comes to managing finances – not least of all the fact that internet banking comes without queues or opening and closing times, so managing one’s financial matters needn’t cost a lunchtime!

Indeed, there is an increasing amount of people jetting off to the farthest reaches of the earth as they seek that once in a lifetime experience. (...)

Indeed, there is an increasing amount of people jetting off to the farthest reaches of the earth as they seek that once in a lifetime experience. But, the classic destinations shall always remain popular with holidaymakers too, with France receiving almost eighty million visitors in 2006 alone, and over thirty million people visiting the capital city and jewel in France’s crown, Paris.

And it’s not difficult to see why. Paris is one of those rare places that can conjure images of grandness, sophistication and wonderment by the mere mention of its name alone.

Of course, there are the classic iconic structures such as the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, recognisable by their silhouette alone. But as great as these places are for photo albums, they don’t even come close to telling the whole story.

Indeed, rather than heading straight to the tourist hotspots, bypassing all the wonderful places in between, Paris is a city that is best discovered by travelling through it at a steady pace, whilst taking the time to soak in all that makes Paris what it is.

Given its ideal location by the River Seine, perhaps the best way to get to know the real Paris is by boat. The Seine is home to many open excursion boats, known locally as ‘Bateau Mouches’. And, given that the Seine snakes from south to north through the very centre of Paris, a boat tour covers a significant part of the city, taking in all the major sites of interest along the way.

Moreover, for those who believe in the magic of romance, then it’s perhaps worth waiting until dark to take in the splendour of Paris by night. Many boat companies offer fine-dining in the evenings, as well as a myriad of entertainment options including live music during the meal, and sometimes even a show afterwards.

And it’s this side of Paris that most people probably think about when dreaming of a trip to a city that has come to be known as ‘the city of lights’. The River Seine is synonymous with elegance and has been the backdrop to many a romantic image from poets and painters, to photographers and storytellers.

Furthermore, Paris has a massive network of canals too, which means it’s possible to meander through much of the city by boat, exploring many hidden haunts that would perhaps otherwise remain undiscovered by the less adventurous tourists.

The two-and-half-hour Canal Saint Martin cruise, for example, explores one of Paris’ best-kept secrets and takes in the neighbourhood of Saint Martin. Indeed, this is a hub of quirky boutiques and cafes, where locals flock to the canal banks throughout spring and summer to wile away the warm, sunny evenings.

So, with so much to see and do in the French capital, it’s little wonder that Paris hotels are always in such great demand; after all, thirty million visitors can’t be wrong!

Ideas and other people are key to business success regardless of the specific sector you work in; you either come up with the ideas yourself or are inspired by other people. (...)

Ideas and other people are key to business success regardless of the specific sector you work in; you either come up with the ideas yourself or are inspired by other people. If you can position yourself in an environment where both co-exist, then your ability to tap into the potential possibilities could transform your circumstances.

There are many benefits to engaging with like-minded business people: you can share ideas, comment on experiences, learn new things, ask relevant questions and gain helpful tips, as well as useful knowledge of the potential pitfalls of your line of work. Making an effort to seek out and meet people with similar attitudes and goals can save you time and money and, in some cases, prove the turning point in your career.

With convenience and efficient time management becoming a priority for us all, businesses are more commonly turning towards online resources to meet their networking criteria, and a little research will prove that meet and greet opportunities are varied and plentiful on the web. Whether it is via weekly or monthly online meetings, you have a chance to connect with a number of potential prospects for your particular product or service, as well as gaining an insight into how networking operates and what it can mean for you. The advantage is that this is all experienced from the comfort of your armchair.

The best online networking groups are thriving communities where members connect on a regular basis to exchange business leads, ideas and contact details with one another in an attempt to learn more efficient ways of networking to advance their own businesses. But while an online business network can be an excellent medium in getting your business name ‘out there’, to get the best from online business networking you will need to stand out from the crowd and your competitors. As such it is often best to be concise and memorable; preparation and a professional attitude allied to being patient and having something informed to say will give you the opportunity to both promote yourself and your business and pick up some helpful information.

The purpose of it all is to gain business contacts and to explain who you are and what you do to a wider audience. As your identity is onscreen, no business cards are required and the more recognition you achieve, the greater the chances that your business will grow through both direct contacts made through online business networking, but also offline through referrals.

Choosing to participate in online business networking is an effective way of gathering contacts, developing relationships, and helping others and your business. It is a process that takes time, but if approached in the right manner, your attitude, time and effort can lead to significantly increased business levels, making it a worthwhile and rewarding venture.

Beauty products are always a firm favourite with most girls and carefully picking one out for a friend or relative can be a fun shopping experience. (...)

Beauty products are always a firm favourite with most girls and carefully picking one out for a friend or relative can be a fun shopping experience. However, choosing the right shades for your girlfriends can sometimes be a risky business. Not only must we avoid colours that the recipient wouldn’t been seen dead in - think old Aunt Maud wearing bright purple eye-liner - you might think it’s cool, but maybe she won’t be as keen! Choose colours that will suit and flatter; some colours make us look fab while others make us look drab.

Choosing the right colour palette makes skin appear radiant and glowing; eyes seem clearer and brighter and will attract a whole host of compliments. However, selecting the wrong colours can make skin look tired or drained, and eyes appear shadowed; it can be a very fine line between right and wrong.

So, how can we ensure we’re choosing the right colours for our friends? Whilst some of it is down to their sense of style and personality, a really good gauge is to think about their skin tone. The ‘warm’ or ‘cool’ spectrum of beauty ensures that we can wear the right colours to enhance and flatter natural beauty and ensure that we all can look our very best.

Whilst this seems like a daunting task to the uninitiated, it’s actually easy to opt for colours that will suit and flatter. Colours are grouped into pigments: yellow/orange tones for ‘warm’ and blue/red for ‘cool’. To find out which colour group is the right one, all you have to do is observe your recipient’s natural skin colouring. Here’s how….

‘Warm’ toned skin tends to have a yellow/golden undertone. Hair can be blonde, brunette or red, and is likely to have hints of yellow/gold or red. Eyes are usually brown, green or hazel. Veins (on the underside of the arm) may have a greenish tint. If wearing gold makes someone look alive, they are probably ‘warm’ toned. ‘Warm’ celebrities include Nicole Kidman and Gillian Anderson.

Flattering make-up colours for ‘warm’ skin tones have yellow/orange undertones. These include; copper, golden brown, pale yellows or greens for eyes; lip colours with a brown base like copper, brick or rusty red, and blushers with brown or peach undertones.

‘Cool’ toned skin has a pink or rosy undertone. Hair can be blonde, brunette, or black but often contains blue/violet/silver, or ash undertones. Eye colour is typically blue or grey. Veins may have a bluish hue. If wearing silver makes their face light up, they are most likely ‘cool’ toned. ‘Cool’ celebrities include Elizabeth Hurley and Charlize Theron,

Make-up colours to suit ‘cool’ skin tones have blue/red undertones. These include pearly and frosted shades for eyes in pinks, purples and blues, whereas lip colours are more likely to feature shades of plum or pink, and blushers will have a pink or purple base.

There is also a ‘neutral’ colour palette for those that fit into both ‘warm’ and ‘cool’, and suit both gold and silver. ‘Neutrals’ can wear just about any colour –there are no rules. So this skin tone is the easiest to buy for!

Some beauty brands have introduced warm, cool and even neutral categories to their make up range. No7 products, for example, include such colour palettes, making it easier to help your friend or relative to look their very best.

Nowadays, if somebody drives a posh car, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the person is rich - the luxury vehicle might have been bought at one of the numerous seized car auctions held regularly. (...)

Nowadays, if somebody drives a posh car, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the person is rich - the luxury vehicle might have been bought at one of the numerous seized car auctions held regularly.

As the name suggests, seized car auctions offer vehicles that were seized by the government or the police due to some illegal activity. Apart from criminals, automobiles at repossessed auto auctions come from people failed to pay the mortgage, defaulted on tax payments, etc. The goal of the government is not to cash on these vehicles, but rather get rid of them quickly and avoid storage and maintenance expenses you can visit www.mining-auction-gold.com

Seized car auctions as well as other types of auto auctions have their own advantages and disadvantages. Being aware of them will help you decide whether or not this is the way you want to purchase your vehicle.

Advantages of Seized Car Auctions

1. Unbelievably low starting bid. You can expect 80 and even 90% discount - a great bargain if you compare it with the retailer price.

2. Good condition. Most vehicles at seized car auctions have been in use not more than 5 years. Quite often, there are cars in a “close to new” condition.

3. History reports available. Ideally, every such auto auction will provide free Car Fax VIN reports. Additionally, you can use an Auto Check Vehicle History to make sure that the car was not damaged in an accident.

4. Possibility to find a rare model. If you are on a lookout for a particular model, especially rare or imported one, chances are you will find it at a seized auto auction. Check online seized car auctions as well - they have an impressive number of listings, so it is really not so hard to find what you want.

Disadvantages of Seized Car Auctions

1. Sold “as is”. After acquiring a car, it is impossible to exchange or return it for a refund. Therefore, take time to assess the car’s condition and check its history.

2. Hard for beginners. If you are a first-timer, a repossessed auto auction may seem to be a tough place to you. Needless to say, it is difficult to keep up with experienced car dealers or go to www.auction-o-matics.com a friend who is not new to seized car auctions would be of great help. Or, turn to online auto auctions - they are easier to control the bidding process.

3. Time consuming. Searching for the seized car auctions in your area, registration, preliminary checking, attending the auction (especially if it is quite far from your place), and getting all the necessary paperwork done later may take up to a few weeks. Again, participation is an online auction is easier, though involves more risks and concerns.

With this knowledge in hand, you are in a better position to buy a car that is auctioned. For more details on where and how to pick up your dream car from seized car auctions, read up my blog.

The Power Play Interviews: Markus Frind- $3 Million in 6 Months

This is the first in a series of Internet Success Stories that you will begin to see on the Power Play Blog. Hope you enjoy them!

Markus Frind, the creator of Plentyoffish.com is a success story worth noting, as he has managed to take a niche formerly ruled by giant corporations and give it his own brand of marketing savvy. A case of David vs. Goliath, where the little guy comes out on top in the end. Markus is the top “individual” adsense publisher in terms of pageviews. Lets find out what some of his secrets are as he shares some advice with our readers. Feel free to comment!

Markus, what is your experience in computer programming and how did it prepare you for becoming a webmaster?

The average pageviews a day is around 14 million for the last week. I’m getting another 80 million pageviews a day from users polling the site to see if they have new messages. Really intensive bandwidth wise!

When I go to your website, I notice that the ads are targeted to my region, yet I have not even registered- can you explain to our readers how you accomplish this feat?

I’m just using ip2location.com- Basically i take your IP, look it up in the database and it tells me what your city is. I then bring up a list of users in your city, nothing magical about it at all.

Are most of your visitors coming primarily from search engines (SERPS), or are you finding that they come from other avenues? Do you actively advertise in the media?

Search engines account for something like 2% of my traffic. The vast majority of my traffic, like any other site with over 5 million pageviews a day comes from word of mouth, and repeat visitors.

The services on your site seem to be offered at no cost to the registrants. Is there some advantage you have over your competitors that allows you to do this?

I’ve developed new algorithms that allow me to create a mega site for next to no cost. Several years ago I created algorithm that was thousands of times faster then the algorithm used in the 1990’s to find a string of 22 prime numbers. At the time a professor used several super computers and hundreds of regular computers over the course of several years to find a record. I did the same thing on 1 computer in 2 weeks.

Fascinating! Are there any other sites you currently maintain, or is plentyoffish.com the only one?

Its the only site at the moment. I’ve got a few other sites I registered for friends so they could learn to do marketing/affiliate stuff. At this point i think 1 site is enough.

Any tips for those looking to create a profitable endeavor on the internet?

IF someone else thinks what you are doing is a cool idea I’d say it isn’t… Find something no one else thinks is important and build up a site with big traffic in that area. Also keep in mind, sites that have low monetization today but have traffic may be the gold mines of tomorrow. In the internet world anything and everything will be monetized at some point and traffic is king.

Traffic is King- very wise advice, Markus. One last question- How do you find the time to maintain such a large commodity on the internet? Surely you must have some other interests in life besides programming and website monitoring?

It only takes a hour a day on average, but its very tiring work. I spend the other couple of hours reading and seeing what is going on.

These days, you can’t help but stumble across the word ‘FREE’, whether actively looking to buy something or not. (...)

These days, you can’t help but stumble across the word ‘FREE’, whether actively looking to buy something or not. A marketer’s dream, this over-used term can be found emblazoned across press ads, plastered throughout supermarkets, and is frequently cited on the radio and TV.

BUT the question many of us will ask ourselves is “Does ‘Free’ ever really mean ‘Free’?”

We are all drawn towards the promise of ‘Free’ services and products. But should we be more cynical about such claims? A prime example of the ever-expanding ‘Free’ market-place comes from a well-known telecoms company. ‘Sign-up to our Broadband Service from only £19.99 a month and get a brand-new laptop for free’ An attractive sounding proposition at first glance, but once you start working your way through all the small print and the endless caveats, you soon realise that it’s simply a way of spreading the cost. Not to mention the additional services you’re obliged to sign-up to (i.e. their Talk Service on the side).

An equally dodgy freebie would have to be the popular ‘Buy one get one free’ device. A deal regularly offered in furniture outlets. Translated into more precise terms, ‘Spend through the nose and well over the odds for one sofa, and receive a smaller, cheaper, second version for free.’ Any savvy, money-minded consumer must undoubtedly see through this marketing speak?

Cynicism set-aside, surely there must be some genuinely ‘Free’ products or services out there? There are of course various ‘Free Sample’ sites, that if trawled through, can sometimes produce a free tea-bag or lollipop. Most of the time, however, there is some sort of competition process or hoop you’re asked to jump through to get anywhere near receiving something for nothing.

There is one site out there, however, which genuinely does do what it says on the tin. Soon-to-launch UK-based wine company Naked Wines, is offering three free bottles of wine to 100 customers signing-up to become a ‘Naked Wines Taster.’ Yes, you do have to answer a few questions (6 to be precise), and yes, you are expected to taste the wine with friends (not too onerous a task then!), BUT the 100 volunteers who are selected will receive three free bottles of wine through the post for absolutely nothing.

Refreshingly simple, and genuinely ‘FREE’.

Kris smith is the author of this article. For anyone interested in claiming their three free bottles, you can find out more at http://www.nakedwines.com

Yippee, it’s holiday time again. Those two precious weeks we’ve been dreaming of and anticipating all year; fourteen days by the sea with the sun smiling down on us…sheer bliss. (...)

Yippee, it’s holiday time again. Those two precious weeks we’ve been dreaming of and anticipating all year; fourteen days by the sea with the sun smiling down on us…sheer bliss. But as we read up on our chosen destination and begin to plan our holiday wardrobe, there’s something else we need to be prepared for… other holidaymakers!

You can choose your friends but you can’t choose your family… or your neighbours on holiday. We have to admit that we all have our own little quirks that make us a tad difficult to live with sometimes, and holidaying alongside people from other cultures can throw up all kinds of differences that infuriate us and threaten to ruin our holiday. Here’s a quick guide on how to survive those cultures clashes we all love to hate ….

Scenario 1: You wake up on your first morning and plan for a busy day lounging by the side of the pool soaking up the holiday sun. But alas, as you head down to the pool, you find that all the sun loungers are reserved with towels. You have three choices; either set your alarm for ‘ridiculous o’clock’ tomorrow to nab some sun loungers of your own, before heading back to bed. Or, if you’re in Spain - where it’s not illegal to remove a towel from a sun lounger – replace the towel with yours. Or if you prefer the non-confrontational option, take a casual stroll or a bus to the beach and enjoy the day with your family, paddling in the sea, and working on your tan.

Scenario 2: You find yourself taking in some culture in a centuries old church. Suddenly another visiting tourist begins loudly telling their family the whole history of the church in the minutest of details, which breaks your peace - and giving you a headache into the bargain! What can you do? Do you: a) leave and do something else, and return when they’ve gone. Or b) pretend you’re one of the family and maybe even learn a little?

Scenario 3: You’re enjoying a guided tour of the historical old town but are constantly trying to avoid getting in the way of the coach load of camera-wielding tourists who are all happily snapping away with their respective cameras. Do you: move on and go and find a more peaceful spot, or, offer to take some pictures for them so that the camera owner can be in the shot with his or her friends and family? Or, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em - take as many pictures as your memory card allows and join in the fun! At least you’ll have lots of pictures to display on your digital photo frames and will have gained a few new friends into the bargain.
