Improving Customer Service in Abortion Clinics
Any bad experience can make a cynic out of anybody. A bad soup, a late and damaged online purchase, bad customer service, a heartbreak-you name it. That is why in business (i.e., food, clothing, healthcare, etc.), the successful ones in their respective fields are known to offer superb if not, the best customer experience and satisfaction. Now, if your abortion clinic is not having as much clients as you have before, you better take a second look at your clinic management and customer service.
Every customer wants to be treated specially. That’s why the saying “The customer is always right” has been hanging invisibly on businesses’ front doors. Of course, customers are not right all the time, but it’s their prerogative to be bossy and act like naggers and think that they are right. We, as businessmen, have to give that to them. Healthcare has a very broad scope of businesses. Abortion clinics are just a small percent of this industry. You only have specific clients. This gives you a certain advantage, enabling you to identify the things that might turn them on or running away screaming.
Okay, that was an exaggeration. But seriously. Check everything. You have excellent equipment. Your operation procedure is safe and clean, giving an overall healthy ambience for your clinic. Those are two of the three important things you need to master when running a business. Now, if you are excellent with the two, then may be your skills with the third, management and customer service, is the one lacking. You must always remember that customers or clients make any business run. They are not always right, but we need to treat them right. Customers come back when they experience great personal service. Some even prefer the lesser abortion clinics (when it comes to equipment and the like) because they have better service.
Abortion clinics must invest in service as much as the equipment. Here, you deal with women eaten by-I don’t know-grief, guilt, remorse because they have come to the decision of aborting their offspring. We know they have different reasons, some even too heartbreaking to share to anyone. Even when these women are not sharing, you must be aware of the pain they are going through. You must be aware of this and show them as much comfort as possible. You may think that customer service is just an extra we give to our customers, you are wrong.
Service is a huge part in any business, especially those directly dealing with people. Abortion clinics should not just have lounges. They should have counseling and therapy departments for the afraid or confused clients. A trauma department will even be a big help. Although clients may not need that every day, but it is reassuring to know that you have back-up in case you have one. Abortion clinics all around America should take note of this one important factor, whether your clinic is in New York, Texas, or Virginia. Customers should be given the attention and service they deserve.
