Siddhartha Mallya to enter Bollywood?

Siddhartha Mallya, son of Indian liquor baron Dr. Vijay Mallya, has been in the limelight ever since he started attending Page 3 parties. The media’s interest in the young man increased even more when the rumours of him dating Bollywood hottie Deepika Padukone started doing the rounds. Though the couple is yet to confirm their relationship status, one need not be a Nostradamus to predict what is going on between the two.

Recently at a party (at which Siddhartha was accompanied by Deepika again) Siddhartha was asked about his interest in films. The Bangalore Royal Challengers owner replied that he loves watching films. However, this statement was twisted later to mean that he is interested in starting a career in acting.

It is being said that Mallya junior has received as many as five film offers till now and the interesting bit is three of them were opposite his rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Though Siddhartha has rejected all such offers, there is a buzz that he plans to open his own production house in the near future. Now we all know who will be the leading lady of the first film under the banner, don’t we?

Siddhartha is a graduate of Wellington College, Berkshire, England, who also owns the Indian Premiere League cricket team, The Bangalore Royal Challengers. Siddhartha is also on the board of United Breweries Holdings Company. Besides cricket, Mallya is an avid footballer, recently he also invested hugely in the Formula 1 racing event that soon going happen for the first time ever in India.
